I need hose route from heater core to water pump and intake on a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500, 4.7 Magnum engine.

Does your heater motor run when you turn speed dial ? Have you checked the two hoses that run from the engine compartment to the heater core ? When car is at operating temperature, carefully touch both hoses which should be warm or hot. If only one if hot, then you may have a bad actuator. If both are hot, you may have a clogged heater core or none functioning heater motor. or resister.

If motor is not working, check fuses, if good, then check for power at the switch and then at the heater motor.

either you have a bad thermostat or you have a air lock in your heater hoses remember your heater is fed by the hose by the upper rad hose return is the hose going to the water pump, to bleed the air out fill rad leave the rad cap off start engine run for 5 min. the check the coolant level,fill to top of neck replace rad cap tight, K-D tools make a special funnel to solve this air lock problem

The A/c condenser should be condensating under the hood where the condenser is. if you truck isnt getting warm the water wont get warm, sounds like you have a leaky heater core. also the thermostat is where the upper radiator hose goes into the intake manifold. simply drain a about half the wate rout of the red, remove the hose clamp and the hose, the remove the two botls that secure the thermostat houseing, installation is reverse, be sure to use a gasket and place a small film of RTV, emphasis on film, not a bead. on the gasket.

That sounds like a bad heater core talking

THERE IS NO HEATER CONTROL VALVE ON THE WATER HOSES. NEW HEATER CORE. INLET LINE right before heater core hot, outlet after core look warm. Burped cooling system 5 times with engine at operating temp. Installed homade burp VALVE right after heater core outlet(high part of hose). Still no heat. Removed water pump, impeller still in good shape not stripped off shaft. Removed heater core hoses flushed water thrue the connections on the block to the water pump INLET and outlet. flushed water thrue heater core and hoses. Going to put it back togeter today. Used known good gauge to check water temp for operating temp in test. 195 f

check to see if both heater hoses are same temp when engine is at normal running temp if not heater core not flowing coolant may need to flush also make sure it does reach normal temp around 200

Why was radiator replaced?Did it have heat before ? If it was plugged, the heater core may also be plugged. Try flushing it with a water hose in both directions. I dont know why the botton radiator hose would be cold, the radiator should be a uniform temp and the air coming through the radiator should be HOT, when the engine is at operating temp. What condition was the old coolant? if it was rusty, the water pump may have lower flow than normal.

You probably just need to backflush your heater core. You can use a hose to flush it back and then forward. You'll be surprised at how much sludge and gunk will come out.
