You either have a fuel pump relay chattering or the fuel pump is going bad. After replacing the relay, try adding a can of B&G44K fuel additive. It is the best on the market and will condition the fuel pump and injectors. Also change the fuel filter at the same time. Methenol fuel is the biggest destoyer of fuel pumps. Do not substitute the B&G, its only available at dealerships (Toyota). It might save you fuel pump replacement (expensive).
Use a meter and test the connections ,lines ,pump for damage or short
Fuel pump bearing failure will cause the pump motor to draw high amps resulting in continual fuse problems
ok thats why you use a meter to determine if its a short in wiring or high amp draw from pump which would narrow problem and indicate where to start for correcting problem and a short or even an over heated relay will cause same symptoms

if you replaced fuel pump i would look at backward wiring when replaced and i would start at the source of work if your vehicle was working fine before replacement then 9 out of 10 it will be your fuel pump wireing
sometimes when putting wireing back together the connectors have the missing clip and in turn you can turn the wireing in both directions now where positive is touching the ground on both sides of connector kris kross problem check your work this is crucial use a test light to find the right wires where they go

Where is the fuse located for the 12 volt accessory plug in the front passenger compartment?
SOURCE: Where is the fuel filter in a Volvo S40 2005
Yes that is correct. The only filter is inside the fuel tank, and as I recall its a non exchangeable filter. It just gets replaced with the fuel pump when it goes bad

the fuel pump and radio are not on the same circuit, most liokely the fuel pump is shorted, that is the most common cause, get under the truck and disconnect the fuel pump connector at the tank, if the fuse doesn't blow then u need a new pump.

You mean the fuel pump fuse keeps blowing? Replace the relay ; check all wiring to the pump and the pump itself. The pump itself may be actually leaking ; thus causing continuity between + and - ; then blowing the fuse for the pump.
