1989 corvette, two right brake lights out. The other three work fine. Also can no longer operate right hand blinker. Bulbs and fuse ok. I am really hoping to avoid disassembling the column.

Yes they are perfect except one of them goes out when the brake lights are energized. I have notice that this is a common problem. The socket most of the time goes bad, I don't know why but they just do. You can pick them up at any parts store for around 5.00 each. If you don't have a volt meter and ground straps to test it right, then I would try changing the sockets out. Quick and easy. Let us know how it goes.
I have a 2001 Ford F150, my brake lights dont work. Ive replaced the bulbs, checked the fuses,and the brake switch on side of the brake pedal was replaced. I still dont have any brake lights. My third brake light works fine, along with my running lights,flashers, blinkers.
