SOURCE: Replace 2005 Cadillac CTS water pump

drain the coolant.remove belt by rotating belt tensioner cllockwise. water pump pulley will require a holding tool to keep it from turning while removing bolts. access to air ratchet can sometimes eliminate the need to hold but be careful cause thats a good way to skin some knuckles. also make installation more difficult to obtain proper torque. after pulley is off just a few water pupm mounting bolts remain. clean and dry gasket surface very well before reinstalling.

SOURCE: Getting a lean burn error code on banks 1 & 2.

Check for vacuum leaks.

Air tube between air filter and intake manifold.

If the motor has over 80,000 miles then the intake manifold gasket can **** in air and leaning out the air/fuel mixture.

Give each air / vacuum relayed hose a 1/8-1/4 turn.

Get a steam cleaning on the motor and check for any sign of leak around the sensors.

How to fix codes PO300, PO332, and PO756

the PO300 code is for a random misfire in the engine, PO332 is for the knock sensor and PO756 is for the transmission not shifting or low vacuum.
I think if you fix the random misfire the rest will correct itself or in other words you need to replace the spark plugs and check the disturber cap for damage or carbon cracks and replace the rotor and you might be in business.

2004 cadillac cts gas gauge stuck reading zero

The reason the guage is staying at empty is because it has set a code for a fuel level sensor. This car has 2 so it could be either one, or a wiring issue (unlikely). When you disconnect the battery, you likely either clear the code or reset it as not current so it allows the gauge to work for a short time until the code sets again. Have it scanned and I am sure you will find a code likely P2066 or P2068 for the level sensors.

2003 Escalade 6.0L AWD p0327 code replaced both knock sensors and harness. Cleared codes 10 miles later light came back on p0327. What do i look for now?

  • Verify the resistance of the knock sensor (compare it to factory specs)
  • Inspect for broken/frayed wires leading to the sensor
  • Check the wiring and connections leading to/from the knock sensor and PCM/ECM
  • Verify proper voltage is reaching the knock sensor (e.g. 5 volts)
  • Verify proper grounding of sensor and circuit
  • Replace the knock sensor
  • Replace the PCM/ECM

Is the PCM the issue?

The P0140 code is caused by or is affected by the P0141 code. Fix the P0141 code first before worring about the P0140.
It is good you had the connections cleaned as oil contamination will cause a problem with the O2 system.
The "automotive electrician" should have performed a continuity test from the O2 sensor heater fuse to the PCM connector were the heater is grounded. The resistance value should be 35ohms. If the value is too high, the PCM will set the P0141 code. I would suspect you have an open circuit in either high or low side of the O2 sensor heater circuit.
Good luck.

I have an engine code PO332 knock sensor 2 circuit low imput bank 2 what is this problem .the car is a 2001 gmc yukon xl .

The most likely cause of your code is a bad rear knock sensor. You should check the knock sensor wiring harness for corrosion. But if that checks out the sensor will have to be replaced. The knock sensor is under the intake manifold, although it's not too difficult to remove. Both knock sensors should be replaced along with the wiring harness, just because of labor involved in gaining access to the sensors. You could try clearing the code, it may stay off for a long time.

Water Pump replacement and then PO332 code ~ knock sensor

Sounds like you have several problems. The P0332 sounds like you got your knock sensor wet and needs to be replaced. When you do make sure you replace the wire harness also and that you seal around both sensors. Also remove the back near fire wall foam under the intake mani to let the water that collects evap out.
