That is because they have only ever been on a Ford Product Need to do your research from scratch & not listen to all the people who know nothing or have never worked on vehicles
Open rear liftgate and there are little slide clips on each end, you pull the clips then slide gas strut/support cyls off. Most new replacements come with new clips.
Stop driving and check your transmission fluid right away. you probably have a leak or a blocked valve body. if the fluid is up what does it smell like? and what color is it? If it sticks like burnt toast or is a dark opaque colour then get it to a shop before you get stranded somewhere. If the fluid is up and clear pink then just schedule an appointment to get the fluids and filter changed by a trans shop , not Mr. Lube. a real trans shop. Hope this helps
you should already have a wire shunt in the main harness for the tach. all you need is the sending unit and the gauge. the sending unit goes in a port on top of the transmission next to the engin bloc. the dealer ship will have the schematic for your specific vehicle and the right sending unit............please rate this
