Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
It's usually located within the centre console alongside the shifting knob. You'll have to remove the skirt around the shifter or remove the plastic cowling around it to gain access.
It's normally a temporary switch that is a plunger or detent style.

Sounds pretty simple. If your starter is not at fault. you may want to check the alternator. If the reason for the battery change originally was due to the battery dying then the alternator could be the culprit.
