How to replace power steering cable 1992 chevy lumina

Power steering fluid goes in the black reservoir at the top center of the belt area on the engine.

You need to have your power steering looked at. You can make sure the power steering fluid is full, first.

Are you wanting to know how to do it? If so your best bet would to purchase a Haynes manual for your car from advance auto or autozone, pep boys sells them as well. It will take you thru a step by step process.

I had to do this on mine and it is a real pain to do. If your up to the task, it will take a long extention with a special type of fitting wrench that will fit on the extention. It would be better to take to a mechanic than fight it. It took me about 4 days, cut up knuckles, bleeding and cussing before I got it done. You can possibly try doing it from underneath the car with it on ramps but like I said, it is a royal pain.

CHECK THE SPARK PLUG AND THE CABLES AND ENGINE FUSE. REPLACE IF NECESSARY.

Yes a fuse.under the dash on the drivers side.
the fuse feeds the horn in the steering wheel and goes through the column to the horn,when you push the horn pad it grounds,and the horn blows.

Have it done by a pro because any connections have to be double flared, then the brakes have to be bled.
