Oil warning light keeps coming on

if you don`t hear any engine noise then its more than likely the oil pressure switch is acting up. this is likely a coincidence that it happened after the oil change. have the oil pressure switch replaced.

The oil warning light comes on and the truck want run then and it has great oil pressure and full of oil to,

Replace the oil pressure switch on the engine. They do go bad. also the switch is used to run current to the fuel pump upon starting everytime. When the oil pressure reaches normal pressure the computer shuts it off and the sends a signal to the fuel pump relay to take over running the fuel pump
This oil switch has three wires attached to it

Reset change oil soon warning after oil change

Hi,
This is most likely because although you changed the oil you didn't reset it. Do this by turning the key all the way forward without starting the engine push the gas pedal to the floor 3 times in 5 seconds wait a second then turn key off then start the truck light should flash then go away.
If you still need assistance let me know.
Thanks,
Lee

if you have changed oil recently (the warning is for oil life) it needs to be reset just like service reminder.

2004 Grand Cherokee: oil pressure fluctuates

if you know for certain that the sending unit is correct and the guage is accurate, then yiu may have big problems.....while the engine is running open the oil filler hole.. is everything wet with oil? or does it look dry or just a little lubed? you can allways install an aftermarket oil pressure guage(crappy tire) if you get the same results with that then you may have a week oil pump....worst case scenerio... need an engine rebuild as the moter may have wear issues.does the pressure slowly drop as the motor warms up? at idle ? does it jump up when you step on the gas?

How do I reset the "Oil Change Warning Indication" on colorado

if you have a owners manual read it. try coloradofans.com website and search the forums. i think johnny5846 is right if you don't have a DIC (driver info center). i believe you use the DIC(tripodometer). i don't know the sequence off hand, you can also you can change your lock settings and alarm settings, etc. with the DIC.
