you have to have the plug on the floor to add the new seat .It plug in to the electric make work ore you have to have the dealer do this for you if not there, Do web search on Junk Yard dog,com for one your cars that year that been crash see you get the eletric seat half price then what the dealer has.

But you need the plug to hook up first.
seat are bolted on 4 nuts screwed the bottom the floor and normal has plug for electric seats

Open the hatch and locate the 2 plastic covers, behind the tail light area on the inside panel. Remove these covers and the nut (8mm) behind them to access the light assembly. Pull lightly on the light assembly to remove, then replace the bulb.

If the car you are talking about has kind of like a key in it, from what I can see is that if the car is running or on the on position and is still blinking. Your security system is malfunctioning. I am more of a Ford mechanic so am not sure but have a PDF of your owners manual. I took some snap shots from it and this is what I found (see pictures below). This is right out of the owners manual. you need an assistant firstly ,then a longish bar ,now make sure resevoir is filled then get assistant to push donw on clutch then holding the pedal down pull the clutch arm back in and tighten the bleed nipple then repeat and about three times is enough ,then you will see the clutch arm operating if the clutch doesnt work and the arm is operating then suspect a clutch fault
