My alarm keeps going off. Last year I had the hood latch repaired. And it worked for 1 yr, 1 mth. I would rather disarm the alarm than pay another $200 for another hood latch. Where is the fuse that...

I've had same problem. Dealer refused to replace hood latch under their extended warranty despite the Toyota Bulletin on the problem. I just DISCONNECTED the hood latch sensor. To get to the hood latch get under the plastic covering over the hood latch by removing the plastic retaining buttons attaching the cover to the frame. Do this by using a sharp edge to pull up the center piece of the retaining buttons, which then lets the outer button pop out. After you get under the plastic cover find the wire coming out of the latch assembly (not the latch release cable you used to open the hood). The sensor wire couples with other wires for the alarm right there. Just disconnect it. The dealer said I may not be able to lock by car as a result of disconnecting the hood latch sensor. But that hasn't happened, and the alarm hasn't gone off since.

Horn not working, horn itself checks ok. don't know which is the fuse or if it pulls out without removing the top cover.

No, you need to open the fuse box cover. The fuse must be in the main fuse box. The position and function of the fuses is normally marked on the inside of the fuse box cover and also in the owner's handbook. If you don't come right with these, work your way through the fuses looking for a blown one. To ease your search the horn fuse it should be around 30 amps.

Where the fuse of the clock of toyota camry 2000

It will be combined with several other componets' circuits. The fuse must be in the main fuse box. The position and function of the fuses is normally marked on the inside of the fuse box cover and also in the owner's handbook. If you are looking for a blown fuse and don't come right with these, work your way through the fuses looking for a blown one. It is not a difficult task, especially if you use a small pair of pliers to assist in removing the fuses.

2.2ltr toyota camry no speedo, indicators, dash indicators

This is a fuse problem and it is located within the car beneath the driver side of the dash-board.

I am not sure but you will detect easily by removing and checking the fuse cover which should have an illustration.

Good luck and rate this.

For any other Toyota Camry issues you can email me @ [email protected].

Cheers.

My radio, clock and power plug/cig lighter are dead which fuse goes to them? !993 toyota celica

If you do not have the fuse box covers or the manual (both have the fuse diagrams), you can buy a tool at the parts store in the fuse section that tests fuses by means of continuity. This allows you to test the fuses without removing them to find any bad one. They are relatively inexpensive and very useful.

i hope this helps

Alt fuse 2004 4runner

The fuse is bolted in to the power buss-bar in the fuse box. You have to remove the fuse box center section from the outer section (pull it up) to access the 8 or 10 millimeter bolts that holds it to the buss-bar. No other way to do it.
