2003 if car has TBW, TAC, if the scan show sTAC failures
the PCM goes to special limphome mode. FOR THROTTLE error

I guess car has no tachometer? to see the transmission fails to upshift, 4 times at least. 1,2,3,4 ,RPM drops from 2 to 4.
all A/T DO THAT, ,NOT CVT . (Some CVT even have steps to make owners happy, but are useless. in fact,
only clue is screaming, well that is stuck in 1st gear and is tranny limphome( it has its very own limphome mode too)
check all fuses. and scan the OBD2 scan port, next, or go broke guessing endlessly or even putting wrong parts in to car or done wrong..
you can not fix modern cars lacking a scan tool, no way.
talking drive train or ABS. etc.
almost 20 years old and has lots of problems ignored,
which one to fix first is a hard choice that many.
Did you use a volt meter to test voltage drop on starter circuit ? It's easy to get
aggervated When you don't know what your doing .
Starter Voltage Drop
Check the alternator. You can observe your interior dome light or the vehicle headlights as you rev the engine. If the light intensity changes with as the RPMs of the engine changes, then you have a faulty alternator.
I suggest that you have a load test done on the battery as from your description there is a dead cell . Coming to a stop is when the engine is idling and the output of the alternator is below that required to supply current to the ignition system. With a dead battery and jump starting it is possible that the CPU program is corrupted so after you fit a good battery use a scanner to reset the CPU program
check your battery might need a replacement and check also your alternator might be faulty and check electrical wiring from your battery, ignition going to your starter, check fuse and relay.
Your problem is most likely the fan relay. It is normally under the hood in the fuse box. Open the fuse box locate the fan relay (most are labeled ) If labeled tap on that relay and the fan should shut off if it does the relay needs to be replaced. If its not labeled tap on the relays one at a time till it shuts off. The one you tap that shuts it off is bad pull it out like a fuse and replace it. 4 thumbs up is appreciated if this helps.
