I don't think it can be reset without a dealer spec scan tool. Has the service been done? if so, the servicing garage should have reset it. Oil Changes are not "service" If it has not been done, have it done. If the service garage does not have the proper tools to reset the service indicator, they don't need to be working on MB.
it means that you need to have regular service work done by the dealer, service letter "C" disignates what is to be done, check the onwers manual or call your local dealer.
1) Turn key to position 2. 2) Press/release the R button to show the next service due light. Release button. 3) Turn key to Off. 4) Press and HOLD the same R button to view the service light, THEN, within 2 seconds, turn key to position 2. 5) Wait up to 10 second and the light will reset to show new service .
Get in the car, close the door.Key in position 1 (make sure you have the temp screen up
before starting) immediately after turning to posistion one, press the reset
button 3 times: the battery voltage should come up.Page down to serivce
data menu.Use plus and minus to select service data and hit page down to
select, then use plus and minus to scroll down to confirm overall service, then
hit page down. It should say service confirmed.
