SOURCE: I need to know what the pipe is called that the lower rad hose hooks up to on the 1998 plymouth grand voyager mini van 3.0L, 3 speed automatic ?

Yes, I know that pipe. It must be the same set-up as a Chrysler 2.5L v-6, it's the inlet pipe for the water pump, runs down in the valley below the intake manifold, and enters the water pump's back side with an O-ring for the seal. Pretty odd set-up, I had to figure it out while taking it all apart to find a leak -in that very pipe. I don't know it's exact name, just call it the lower radiator hose connection to water pump inlet pipe. It will blow a new parts person's mind.

My 1994 buick lesabre misses out

Check the fuel pressure. It will tell you if the pump, fuel filter, and fuel pressure regulator are all good. Fuel pressure is critical on fuel injected engines.

Check your spark plugs for wear or the wrong gap.

Another possibility is a vacuum or air leak. Check all vacuum hoses and the intake manifold gasket. The GM 3.8L engine is prone to lower intake manifold gasket failures. Sometimes the upper intake gasket, too.

Coolant leak at intake 1994 Buick LeSabre 3.8 ltr

There are several areas of possible leakage. One is the hose and plastic outlet from the intake manifold on the passenger side of the engine. The hose runs low, underneath the alternator. The plastic outlet cracks, the hose gets old, the clamps on the hose can also be loose. The replacement outlet from the dealer is steel, not plastic.
Another possibility for leakage is on the driver's side of the intake manifold. Underneath the air inlet is a metal cover on the end of the intake manifold. This covers the coolant passages at the end of the intake. Mine was oozing antifreeze..you don't have to pull the intake to replace this.
The other place for leaks is the intake itself..requiring removal of the intake. I've done this...I don't think it is that bad of a job. However, if you put in a new intake, don't forget to put in a pcv valve..it fits under a small cover at the right rear of the intake manifold.

A/c blowing warm air

Start from beginning at source line going through firewall which may be attached at brake booster, or back of intake manifold, then to back of controls. Take a piece of hose if necessary, hold it up to your ear and use it to assist in hearing a hissing sound, under dash on passenger side, in behind controls etc, it may help you pinpoint it.
Do any of the doors sound like they are moving at all?

Where is the pcv valve located on a 2003 ford ranger

  • The PCV valve can be located in several places. The most common location is in a rubber grommet in the valve cover. It can be installed in the middle of the hose connections, as well as installed directly in the intake manifold.
  • Once the PCV valve is located, make sure all the PCV system hoses are properly connected and that they have no breaks or cracks.
  • Remove the air cleaner and inspect the air and crankcase filters. Crankcase blowby can clog these with oil. Clean or replace such filters.
  • Oil in the air cleaner assembly indicates that the PCV valve or hoses are plugged.
  • Make sure you check these and replace the valve and clean the hoses and air cleaner assembly.
  • When the PCV valve and hose are in satisfactory condition and there is oil in the air cleaner assembly, perform a cylinder compression test to check for worn cylinders and piston rings.

the pcv valve is behind the alternator between the alternator and oil filter. when you remove the oil filter you can see the pcv in the intake manifold. best way to get to it is through the pass side fender under the rubber mud flap thats between the wheel and engine.
