Technically, you don't have one.
If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse. Any applicable trouble codes?
If only a fuel issue, check voltage and ground at the fuel pump, note the wire colors, also, check the fuel pump relay.

Most modern autos are equiped with a crash sensor fuel cutoff switch. That may need to be reset. I don't know much about the Tarus, but I found the switch in the trunk area near the passenger rear fender in my Ford Escort.

there is a fuel cut off switch on this vehicle usually found eithe rin the trunk area or in the front passenger kick panel behind the trim. reset this switch just push in a button. it only takes a 15mph impact to trip this switch.
