98 buick LeSabre horn wont work

You can pull the fuse. The problem could be the horn contact in wheel or a short in wiring or horn relay

Jim, Remove passenger side kick panel to access the fuse box where horn fuse is located #3 fuse in your manual, box fairly high up under dash. Horn relay under hood/engine compartment fire wall.

Check you fuse box or the power box under the hood , normaly on tne driver side fender well..open it up and you should see a bunch of fuses and relays..some have them marked at the slot or some have schematic..your horn has a relay..once you find it there will be others just like it so before buying one..change with one of the others..if the horn works you found the problem..if not..you can check if the horn itself is bad..locate it and disconect the wires then see if you can get 12 volt power directly to the horn connections if it works..then the horn button most likely is the problem,,will need it removed and tested...If it is the horn most any junk yard should have them for about $5 no need to buy new..can be expensive while your there pick up a few relays and fuses..very cheap..there...good luck..

There is a relay that is actiavted to switch high current to the horn. Check that horn relay!

is your horn relay good, swap another relay and see if that works, if not you should check wiring at lower steering column, you could splice wire from relay to wiring harnees at lower steering column inside vehicle

REMOVE HEATER BLOWER MOTOR HOT WIRE BLOWER MOTOR IT.IF IT WORKS.YOUR AC AND HEATER CONTROL SWITCH IS FAULTY.CHECK HVAC FUSES AND CHECK BLOWER MOTOR RELAY.IF BLOWER MOTOR DONT WORK WHEN HOT WIRE REPLACE IT.IF ALL CHECK OUT GOOD.HAVE DEALERSHIP DO A DIAGNOSTIC TEST ON YOUR CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM.

Disconnect the plug from the horn and using a negative and Positive wire that you run directly from the battery make contact with each on the horn contacts. The horn should sound, if it doesn't the horn is bad. If it does and it still doesn't work from the button on the steering wheel, since you have replaced the fuses and relays already, the horn button on the steering wheel is bad.

may have bad horn relay, for the no start check key chip and ignition switch could have bad chip contacts or just bad switch. hope this helps.
