The fuse will blow because it is telling you there is a fault so just changing the fuse will not fix this.you have to find the scource of the problem eg wire shorting etc

If you're finding it difficult to service/repair your car, get one of those online manuals. You'll not have to wait for others to answer, or rely on mechanics and all. Plus i know a website that sells very cheap but very very good
manuals online, without expiry i.e. for lifetime. www.reliable-store.com

2005 kia sorento change ext fuse and it keep blowing

I have a 2004 Sorento EX and my EXT fuse along with the stop lamp fuse kept blowing. The ext would blow as soon as I turned the vehicle on. The stop lamp would blow after a couple pushes of the brake pedal causeing me to have no rear lights at all regarding brake and the lights that you turn on at night. After much reading online in forums such as this, I was led on a chase looking for grounding wires, broken wires, dirty battery terminals, faulty altinator, and for a drl module. I could not find a drl module as I now do not believe there is one in sorentos, or at least in mine. I then came to the brake switch that is located on the arm of the brake pedal. I disconnected it, put a couple of new fuses in, started my vehicle and checked my fuses, and at last they did not blow! I reconnected the brake switch and checked the fuses and they had blown. I have a hunch that I am dealing with a faulty brake switch. Hope this helps

1998 Lincoln Town Car passenger side headlight low beam only.

Hi Steven, I guess you have checked the fuses? Some time (and I'n not saying this is your problem) the fuses are wired in such a way that if one blows (and the fuse is on the earth side of the circuit) there will be an output, but the circuit will either use the earth through the the other bulb or fail to earth. I would also suggest having a look at the relays and their operation. Lastly, check the earth connections again. Regards John

Horn on 2002 Gmc Sierra 1500 stopped working. Horn stated boleing fuses a couple of years ago and was just changing fuses to fix problem short term. Last time horn stopped working I changed fuse and it did...

Sounds like the horn itself is shorted out. You didn't mention if the blown fuses were a result of using the horn. A horn in construction is an electromagnet acting on a diaphram; if the electromagnet develops a short, it causes an overcurrent condition and will blow the fuse.

Engine will not idle until warm. then it is just fine

This is normal, as long as the rpm's are not above 2000, this is to heat the engine to it's operating temperature quickly. Once the engine is warm, the rpm's will drop to 600-800RPM.

possibility it could be fuse or fuses this would be first thing to check if you got owners manual with it it would be ideal to refer to changing fuse it usually gives you pictures of where fuse box is & which fuse is which might be on same fuse.
