My windows dont work anymore when i push the buttons it just locks the doors have no idea how to fix

hi maby try some silicone lubricant spray on the switch and try working it up and down for a while if that doesnt work you will need a new switch

There are f few ways. Bust the plastic handle off the outside . Make sure the door is not locked. If you can get inside the door this way and see a rod near the door handle. Push up and down [ usually down ] on this, door should open . OR Roll the window down. Pry up on the inner door panel by the rubber piece that clears your window. This piece should be able to pry up, enough to see the same rod I am talking about.Usually, these rods push down to open the door. #3 Roll up window, put a small wedge between the window and the door by the door handle. This should get the gap open enough to look down inside the door. Look for this same rod, near the door handle, and push down on it to open the door. replace Hope I was helpful please rate this solution

either the switch in drivers door died or plug came off

check the switches are grounded and that they arent shorting out somewhere. . most likely the case. get back to me.

can you roll down the pass. side window from the master switch on drivers side?

Follow the buzzing noise,to find the relay module,it is the problem

replace the motor, the mecanism is made of plastic inside and it has too much freeplay so it ends jammed crooked in the casing, common problem with electric windows

My Cherokee has a window lock button on the driver door (A child safety feature). See if your is locked... push the button and try your windows.

can you see the window assembly.. you should be able to see the gears for the window crank as it sounds like the gears are stripping... You should be able to get to the bolts that are holding the window assembly to the door.

this may sound stupid but its only a temporary fix. take the panel off the door and tap the window motor with a small hammer. do all the other windows work? does it make any sound when you hit the button? you probably end up having to replace the window motor.
