2006 Yukon Denali XL the radio stays on as well as the battery symbol on the dash and the dash lights and the heated seats buttons also light up with the car off and locked keys out of ignition

If I unplug one of the connectors going to the body control module located under the steering wheel after 5 seconds everything turns off

Yes that's normal. it should go off as soon as you open the door though. if it doesn't then they will go off when timer expires (normally about 90 seconds) after you leave the car.

you ,misunderstood him,.... It doesn't go off when he opens the door,..and he had to resort to unplugging! Why would the radio door kill not work?, as well as numerous others like driver door lock and window switches the gauges cluster; fuel temp, batt, stc. and the battery light is on while running driving,.abs light is on,..the rpm and speedos are off until driven for a bit and they just kick on,...and the AC door is closed? blows hot....ALL from unplugging my rear passenger door window switch and speaker..OH and the radio works just no audio after unplugging the rear left door panel. HOW DO I DO A ELECTRICAL RESET?

When i go to start my truck all the lights heater radio will come on but it makes a ticking sound in the start and wont turn over?

Battery is dead. Try jumpstarting the truck. The ticking is relays trying to close, but not having enough power to stay closed.

My 2006 gmc yukon xl drivers seat will not move nor the heated seats on either the drivers or passanger seat. I tried the fuses and that is not it. I tried reseting the computers by unhooking the batterie...

Under the drivers seat at the rear is a black plastic cover. Remove the cover , it is over the main harness to the seat. Unplug the seat harness and inspect the connection. I see alot of these get knocked loose or get corroded. Good Luck.

02 GMC Denali front heated seats won't work

test to see if you have any power going through all the connectors for the seat heater, there may be a spot where there is a connector that has gone bad, or potentially it could be the whole element that is bad

I have a 2006 Yukon xl Denali with the Bose radio/ Navigation and separate 6 disc cd changer. The am/fm radio works fine, but when using XM, the channels get stuck and have to be turned manually.

generally it would just need to be reset... unhook the battery for about ten minutes and hook it back up. make sure you have the unlock code for the radio FIRST and you know how to enter it.

Heated seats won't stay on in 2004 GMC Yukon Denali

See GM TSB 05-08-143-001, If you have Adjustable pedals, especially if they don't work with the memeory buttons, but function with thier own buttons. Its the Brake Pedal Position Sensor is shorted and mesing up the seat module which controls the heaters too. My 05 Suburban had the same issue
