What is the best way to take out a ignition switch on a nissan 1999 altama

i think that it is in the gas tank you will have to drop the tank out of the car and the fuel pump is on the top of the tank held in with a retainer clip this has to be removed and you will be able to pull out the pump

hey how u doing on those cars it could be running fine with a cracked distributor cap but when water or moisture gets in it will cause it to stall I would check my fire first start with the cap hope this helps you.
