My 1997 saturn sl standard turns over no fire changed coil packs still no fire what next

How many miles on it ? I recommend doing a compression test on that cylinder if you haven't already done it ! Before you replaced all those parts did you check for spark ? Could have saved the expense ! You could have a burnt valve ! What did the spark plug look like ? The end that goes in the engine ! You can tell a lot by the look of the spark plug , was it wet looking , fuel fouled Black ,carbon fouled , nice tan color , what ? How to Read Your Spark Plugs Davison Automotive

check compression ..a difference of 15 lbs compression from cyl to cyl will cause in balance. if ok check crank sensor, supplies signal for coil to fire

on the front of the engine there are two coil packs, and underneath them an ignition module. go to a junkyard and get another set, they are all about the same 91-99. if that does not work then you are looking at another computer. i am assuming you have actually checked and there is no spark at the plugs and that the plug wires are in good shape.

there is an ignition module, which sits underneath the coils, has been known to go bad.

could be few things like crank sensor, bad coil pack, bad or loose conection to the coil.

Sounds like it needs a tune-up. Spark plugs and plug wires.

on the coil pack the one all the way to the left thats #4 then going from left to right #4-#1 #2 #3
4123 on the coil pack
then on the engine the spark plug closet to the top engine mount is #1 then 234 from left to right 1234 on the engine

check timing belt!! good luck!!
