There's no temporary fix. The cylinder generates too much pressure.

SOURCE: 2003 F-350 6.0 TDI, Front Main Seal, Head Gaskets, and Valve Cover Gaskets

ok make sure to check or replace the unexpensive pcv valve
if that one is cloged it will coause all kind of leaks even whit new seals

and on the head gaskets problem i will recomend to get your radiator serviced or replaced because 90% of the mechanics check your radiator for cloged lines but they always do it at the top and by gravity all the garbache acumulate on the bottom, if you don't beleive it ask your mechanic hos does he inspect your radiator

SOURCE: Replacing head gasket on 1995 honda civic, require torque specs and secquence

wow. a lot of bad information on this site. Refer to a manual for the proper torque sequence. The civic I believe is a two step torque procedure. First 22 ft lbs, than 53 ft lbs.

SOURCE: oil leak from the head gasket on my 1993 honda civic

dear friend-i do not think the oil comes from the hear gasket but rather from the distributor, make sure that the oil is not running down onto the head gasket and the shows as a oil leak from the gasket.

I guess i have a broken head gasket, do you recomend a product called Steel Seal?

http://www.diyforums.net/anyone-tried-steel-seal-for-blown-head-gaskets-285608.html

you can try it, but read this stuff first. I'd recommend replacing it, but if you haven't the time or money, . . .it sounds like that a lot of people have had success with it. But you can't go wrong with a new gasket Fel-Pro permatorque gaskets are what I use.

1995 honda civic d15b7 cranks but wont start. new

Are you sure you have correct timing? its definetly a fule problem, if timing is good then turn your key to the on position and try to listin for the fule pump to prime. While the key is in on position go to fuel rail, there is a valve on fule rail called sharader valve. Get a small screw driver and press valve in to check if car has fule pressure. if pressure is present then it is incorrect timing or possible bad cam sensor.

89 honda civic fails smog

bingles,,,have you changed the oilseals on the valve stems or used the old ones?these tend to harden after a few years and even a slight leak may lead to high emissions, also v,important did you use the old head gasket or replace it? always use a new gasket as an old one has already been compressed and may cause a cross-flow leak into one or all of the piston chambers.
hope this helps.

Motor Oil leaks from 1999 Honda Civic EX

make sure they are tight
could be time for head gaskets
make sure the old gasket from the old filter came off the block sometimes they come off old filter and stick this causes a leak due to improper seal.

My 92 honda civic si check engine light sometimes goes on after driving it for a while and it usually goes on after high revving, i don't know if this has anything to do with it but there is a beeping...

no, the beeping sound has nothing to do with it, thats just telling you your key is in the ignition. this happened to me and turned out to be a blown head gasket. get a complete head set for about $200 and be sure to change ALL of the seals and gaskets, or else you will just blow your head gasket again.
