2004 ford crown victoria police interceptor door locks will unlock but not lock how can i fix it?

Door locks were working now they dont, started with the drivers door not locking now the passenger door wont work

Assuming you have played with the child locks on the doors you may fnid that your particular car is missing the linkage from the interior door handle to the door lock. Apart from making up a rig yourself I would suggest going to a breakers yard or possibly your local Ford dealer

there should be the rods and clips inside the door if not you must go to the junk yard for the rods and the you must take off the door panel unscrew the lock mechanism at back of the door and fit the rods into the lock and the door handle then reassemble it ?????? did you check to make sure the child safety locks are not on ??? also your car may have the dark out system activated and you have to go to the dealer for that so they can reprogram the lighting control module to get the interior lights working
