Question about 2007 Jeep Liberty Sport

1 Answer

I have looked in the user manual and can not find the fuse (or fuses) that control the light for the console. Which fuse number is it?

Interior light all work - all light seem to be working (except one tail light - but I think that is a bulb - to be checked tomorrow)- the switch to make interior lights brighter or darker works. Other than pulling every fuse - can you tell me which fuse it is? Thanks - Richard Bell

Richard Bell here - found the answer - the fuse is also the one controlling the RIGHT TAILLIGHT - FUSE # 9 - changed it and problem with tail light and console light went away. (Note: The fuse for LEFT TAILLIGHT (FUSE#7) does NOT work the same way!!) R.B.

Learn to test them all, using a meter? or look at them?
or post the exact light dead, you did not.
the cab of the car and dash, etc is ****-a-block full of lamps.
must we guess, ?
post a photo of one lamp dead, and BINGO, 1000s words in 1nanosecond, is this too hard?
yes we can but , no we cant with out photos or using real names of a lamp.
console, do you mean the shift console, or the console box light.
Illum.? those lamps on the shifter run off of cab dimmable park circuity, turn on park and they all glow,.
if only one dimmable lamp fails of the 10 or more in the cab.
then its burned out, or the connector to it is rusty.

97ford f150 4.6l 4x4 25maxi fuse keep blowing

Hi James Hollins, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information.

By "25 maxi," are you referring to fuse number 25, or a fuse rated at 25 amps? If the latter, which fuse number is it and in which fusebox, engine or interior (under dash)??

Fords are tricky with fuses. For some "user-UNfriendly" reason, the fuse-box only shows the fuse number, and you need to look in the owner's manual to find-out which component is protected by a given fuse by its number.

Once you know the components served by the blown fuse, you can isolate the cause of high current draw.

Tell me the fuse number and its block's location (interior or engine area), and we go from there. Thanks.

What's the fuse number for the instruments lights and the back light on the 2004 navigator

Not sure if this is going to help you because what I can see is that the two fuses you are looking for control alot more then just the two things you are wanting to check. The instrument cluster is in the number 21 position and is a 15 amp fuse but it also controls many other things such as the interior (courtesy) lamps, park brake release relays, park brake release motor and a couple of other things. the number 6 position is a 15 amp fuse controls your backlighting feed but also controls such things as parklamps, floor console gear select lighting and a few more. in any case those are the two fuses you asked for and here is a diagram if you need it as well. I hope this helps and good luck. All this should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you don't I have one I can send you one. just email me at with your make model and year and I will send it to you. Don't worry no charge it's free. Here is your diagram:

Is there a website that has my fuse location on a 2000 honda accord. My odometer light went out at the same time my remote lock key ring stopped working. Maybe my back lights do not work if a posting I...

Interior fuse box, driver's side: Fuse number 9 (7.5A) Instrument Panel, Backup Lights.
This URL is a part of the manual for your car, showing the interior fuse box (as well as the rest of the manual if you click through it)

This is the portion of the manual that covers your remotes (battery)

Hope this helps you find what you're looking for.

Ford focus station wagon looking for where tail light fuse is

There are 4 fuses you would need to check in the interior fuse panel.
The first one is fuse no.32(10amp) then check no. 33 (15amp) then no. 59 (7.5 amp) and no. 61 (7.5 amp)

Interior lights not working

Look under the Hood and see if there is a Fuse Relay Box. If so, There will be a Relay in here for "Illumination" Change this relay and check the other Fuses and the Fuses in the Panel inside the car with a Flashlight and see if they will not come on.
