Did you disconnect the battery negative cable for 5 minutes after the parts were replaced? If not do so then drive it at least 20 miles in varying conditions of idle cruise and so on. See if that helps the rough idle. also rerun the fault code test and see if any codes reappear, I have a feeling you did not fix the problem but just threw parts at it.

99 Isuzu Trooper RPM keeps racing! These sensors have been replaced; TPS, IAC, CTS, no Vac. leak. The RPM still races at normal operating temp. What sensor tells the computer the RPM of the engine?

after many posts, we see only 1 clue engine
MAF
the 6ve1 engine
that told me what engines. one word, mAF.
if just one MAF (no map)
so all air leaks are slow rpm caused by lean
but if pcm goes in to limp home mode.
it car race, due to loss of IAC controls
the engine does not run like you think
the CMP/Cke sensors,
if they die , the engine dies.
if they misfire, the engine misfires and slows and stalls'

are you using good scan tools real that see all factory codes. p1, p2xxx?
not just fedcodes, p0xxx?

the 3.5v v6 has a MAP and a MAF BOTH.
on some engines like this, the Map is for idle
and the mAF of for fast.
fooling many machanics
dual mode systems,
the MAF sensor is not very accurate at idle
is the reason for the dual mod
so vacuum leaks, I SAY.

Locating MAF on 2001 alreo

Honda's do not use a mass air flow (MAF) sensor. They use a manifold air pressure (MAP) sensor. The MAP sensor measures vacuum vs the MAF sensor measuring air flow/temperature. No real reason to clean a Honda MAP sensor. Are you having engine performance/idle problems? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is causing my 97 mazda pickup to idle rough then die?

2 things could be happening. One, the maf, or map sensore is bad. If there is a check engine light on, have it checked out. Second, it could be the throtle position sensor. Or just crappy gas. Rule the gas out first before changeing sensores.

92 jeep wrangler 4 cyl 5 speed skipping and bogging down idling rough replaced fuel pump/filter injector o rings fuel pressure regulator timing chain distributor plugs wires map sensor crank sensor idle...

Have you checked the cam sensor? Also does that vehicle have a "throttle position sensor"? Some cars use both MAP and MAF sensors, not sure about your particular vehicle but if it is one of those, cleaning the MAF wouldn't hurt. Good luck.

My 2004 toyota tacoma has a rough idling problems and I was told to replace MAP sensor. Now, would it be Mass air flow sensor ? Because I can not locate any info on MAP sensor of this yeat truck

Yes your truck is equipped with a mass airflow sensor (MAF). However, I would not just replace that because its running rough. I would begin diagnostics by first checking to see if there were any trouble codes in the engine to give you a clue as to the rough running condition. I would expect a trouble code to be present to support the descision to replace the MAF Sensor. If no codes are present I would suggest that you get the vehicle tuned up. (Spark plug replacement and throttle body cleaning and I would also suggest removing the idle control valve and cleaning the carbon and dirt out of it. Although what you were told might be correct I dont belive that is where I would start.
