You should replace the handle with an aluminum version. The best one I have found is sold on eBay for 12 dollars.

It is easy to install, does not require removing any panels. Th first one I replaced took me about 1/2 hour. I hae done several since for friends and now takes about 15 minutes.

Installation instructions are here:

Good luck.

Something is rattling inside my Sisan French steamer,it still works. Do I need to figure out what is rattling and get it out?

Its funny but if something was rattling I would not use it at all until I opened it to see what the rattling was about. and yes by all means open it and remove it or maybe it is a screw that came off and needs to be tighten so by all means check it out.

How can I fix my windows ?

The rattle will be loose screws/bolts in the linkages and maybe the regulator needs to be changed.
Remove the door trim and inspect everything. Tighten all bolts you can reach. Spray all of the points that can rattle with white lithium grease Test the window lifts before replacing the trim.

Tailgate on my 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid rattles constantly regardless of speed. Any suggestions?

Hi Jim, You may need to check the hinges and adjust the locking mechanisms. If the door has a spare attached the weight can damage the hinges. Regards John

Bad engine rattle

hi, the most likely cause is going to be that the hydraulic lifters are going to need replacing these are what control the valves from the cam shaft these lifters ware over time making the gap bigger between the valve and the camshaft so then you get this rattle the only way to solve this problem is to replace the lifters.

Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

My car rattles when Go up a hill or go over 30 mph

Does the car shake? If so do you feel it in the steering wheel?-front end problem, tires, etc.
Or do you feel it in your seat?-back tires bad or need balanced.

Rattling in the dash

It sounds like there is a Dash Mounting Clip that has Broken and is Rattling against the Inside of the Dash. You will need to Remove the Front Panel of the Dash and check the Mounting Hardware for Breakage.
