I have a 2001 Lincoln Ls 3.9 V8 motor and I'm trying to locate the temperature sensor. But i am having trouble to locate that part. Can someone help

This sensor is referred to by Ford as a Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor and should be located on the inboard side of the lefthand head in the valley area under the intake manifold, to replace it should require removal of the intake manifold assembly.

Just a thought: If you have two electric fans one comes on when you turn the A/C on the other does not come on till the car reaches normal operating engine coolant water temperature.

Look for C107 on the diagram.

Your going to have to be very specific as to
what you need

There are 3 hoses going to the Coolant
Control Valve, down about mid way on the radiator

V6 or V8

There is no temperature sensor

You have a Cylinder Head Temp Sensor only

where is the coolant temperature sensor located on a 2000 lincoln ls v8

2002 is what I have. should be similar

Service Gauge Port Valves
The high-pressure service gauge port valve is located on the A/C receiver drier manifold and tube assembly.
The low pressure service gauge port valve is located on the manifold of the A/C compressor manifold and tube assembly at the A/C compressor.

It is on the Driver side of engine in between the COP's (Coil on plugs) simply unplug the wire use a 19 or 3/4 deep well socket and unscrew it and put it new one... The whole process should only take 10-15 minutes.
