SOURCE: tail light wiring connectors and wiring diagram

A test light checking each connector would be faster and easier to do. Maybe somebody may have a illustration for you but by far a simple test light is all you need with a helper turning on the different lights as you check them out and writing all your findings down

2004 Pontiac Grand Am SE dash back lights quit working I installed an aftermarket radio. Wiring OK no blown fuses.Every thing else works fine plugged factory radio back in lights still did not work.

check that dimmer is turned up ---and check connections around where radio work was done for damaged disconnected line connector also check dash fuses not just fuses from radio --or your radio may not be compatible to your dimmer circuit -most oem radios display are Incorporated with dash functions and after market ones are not

How do I fix the clock display on my 1999 Pontiac Sunfire?

It appears to be that the radio clock display has malfunctioned, and is due for a replacement radio, which could be an aftermarket or oem radio, maybe found at a junk yard.

Tools required for oem replacement radio, torx keys set.

Before working on the radio or other electronics, disconnect the battery cables with 8mm wrench.

Replacing the oem radio is much easier, if you obtain oem radio, compared to aftermarket radio, due to being direct fit.

The radio is same for 1995 to 1999 Pontiac Sunfire and the Chevy Cavalier, regardless of sub models, such as SE,GT, VL,VLX,Z24. etc.

Parts needed for the the aftermarket radio install :Stereo assembly, stereo wiring harness adapter, radio antenna adapter, and dash install kit.wiring diagram for the wire colors / functions, along with tools, such as torx key set, screwdrivers, wire crimper, wire stripper, double ended wiring connectors, hair dryer.

The oem stereo removal video is for the 2000 to 2005 Sunfire / Cavalier, but are the same or very similar procedures.

Replaced factory radio with aftermarket radio, now heat, ac, radio, controls not working (checked fuses, none blown)

was this a hack job?> cutting wires. (cutting harness wires?)
or did you use those nice install kits with the connector pig tails
that find the factory harness connector.
if you messed it up, only the FSM can save you now.
read the schematics.
see ZJ
here
http://www.jeep4x4center.com/knowledge-base/index.htm?utm_source=cj#service

no electrical tape allowed (heat shrink)
no wire nuts (horror to max on cars)
no cannibal splices. (the cut in to factor wires, nasty they are)
or it can be bad.

How can i instal my new radio in my 2002 ford mustang i dont know witch wire gos connected

best buy or most stores that sell new car radios sell wiring adapter kits that simply plug in to your existing harness. It is the easiest way to install an aftermarket radio

2003 grand am radio light out however radio works fine what is problem

Most likely their is a loose connection in the radio harness. One of the wires in this harness sends power to the back light on the radio. It has become loose or disconnected. Assuming no other lights are out and nobody has been cutting wires to install an aftermarket radio. If other lights are not working then check your fuses.
