Where do I release the radiator fluid on my 1999 Lexus es300

remove drain plug under neat the car then flush it with hose till clean water comes out.replace the plug back and add some coolant

Thermostat on 1mz-FE Engine

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Wait at least 90 seconds before performing any other work.
2. Drain the engine coolant.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Remove the air cleaner inlet assembly.
5. Remove the air cleaner assembly with hose.
6. Remove the air cleaner bracket.
7. Remove the air cleaner inlet No. 1.
8. Disconnect the radiator hose outlet.
9. Remove the bolt and water inlet pipe.
10. Remove the O-ring from the water inlet pipe.
11. Remove the 3 bolts and water inlet.
12. Remove the thermostat.

is the battry charged???

I was able to release the headlamp bulb on the 1995 Lexus es300 by removing the rubber cover and releasing a pin that keep the bulb in place. I willhave to purchase a HELO replacement bulb, part number
SKU: HEL.1637160.11701

remove cup holders first then 2 screws on bottom then 2 screws through the ac vent and should slide right out
check ebay or a car custom place

Sometimes it will be written in ownership books in your glove compartment, if not any lexus dealership should be able to give it to you, some dealerships may want you to come in a prove you own the car.

Flush the fluid every 30-45k miles. I work for lexus and they make solid cars and transmissions but some es300 transmissions from that year range fail (a very small percent) they do only replace transmissions. After the replacement the cars are fine, its not necessarily anything the owner did.Ive seen mixed results from shops that rebuild these transmissions as they don't do them everyday, those shops see alot more gm ford and chrysler vehicles and many of their models fail before 100k.
