Car has new battery new engine , and clicks as well . key turns put wont turn on .we have 1990 acura integra. the car was stolen few moths ago can it have anything to do with how they stole the car.

possible bad ignition if the broke the ignition this could have damaged some of the wires. if the ignition is not damaged does the car click at all while trying to start? if so this means the relay is good . if not check any relays in the fuse area. or even a bad or broken ground wire. if it clicks it could also be the starter... this is a troubleshooting issue you will need to tackle if you feel ok doing so . if not please leave it to the pros..... good luck.

2007 Dodge Caravan won't start.Batt. is good, all lights work, Turn key, solenoid clicks and stops, all gauge needles slowly move to max., and return to min. No codes displayed.

When you try to start it do the lights dim way low, have you been able to start it with a jump from another vehicle, unfortunately, chances are the starter needs to be replaced. How many miles does it have?

Starts...won't start...not battery, not starter, not alternator. Just clicks when turn key. Some safety start disable???

Mine did the same thing. After having the batt checked and being assured there was nothing wrong with it I went "old school" and pulled and cleaned the batt cable ends. Also cleaned the connections just downstream from the ends as they were easy to get to. Haven't had a starting problem in 8 months now so must have found something. Hope this helps ya . Sometimes we get so wound in in high tech that forget the KISS system of troubleshooting.

Car will not start, just makes a clicking sound.

if when you jump it starts its your batt if if keeps dying it your alternator the clicking sound is your statrer which means thats good try the batt when you buy a new one it will have a warranty soo if it dies because the alt you will get a new one batt for free (the alt charges the batt)

1989 jeep comanchee, eng turns over but won't

Either the starter turns over or not, if not it is either the batt or connections at the batt or the starter is shot >

New starter good batt. only clicks wont turn over 1995 montero

The Batt does not have a full charge or it is the wrong cranking AMP's for the car... find out if it is the right Batt and also that it is put on a "slow charge" over night or at least 6 hr's
