Power steering pump or hydro-boost. Either one, you might want to see if you can buy rebuild kits for them first. If you can, kits come with a parts explosion diagram. Neither are hard to disassemble.

When I went back I'm using cruise for 100 km/hour and towing a motorcycle? on the top hill.(edited)

ok its a 2008, MK49 jeep, Patriot
no engine stated.
gas or diesel, or turbo diesel.
if its the VW diesel
it is really 3 cars in one.
Jeep, Mitsubishi and VW.
not a fun job to fix or diagnose, cars like that.
mixed parts...
but gas dirt cheap here, at 50 cents a liter.
so we run nice big V6 here. common on all jeeps.
3.7L petrol.
getting diesel smog clean is problematic. (NOX issues huge)
see the VW law suits. yah. more pain.

so what engines is really really there
down under in Sidney.

(2010 VW Jetta GLTDI TRN:AT STK: V4565 ENG: 2.0 Liter FI Turbo) Turns out my normal gas pump is no longer diesel. The station was bought out and the re-did everything. I filled up normally, (tank was...

Hopefully you didnt ruin your engine. Diesel fuel has lubricating properties to it where gas dosent. It could have also burnt the pistons. Was the pump marked well? If not i would go after the station for damages. We had this happen several years ago, but opposite. We had a station down the road that put diesel in where the super gas pump used to be. They paid for towing to our shop and for us to remove the diesel fuel from the fuel systems. What a mess that was. Luckily no major damage was done to any. I would definately get that checked out by a mechanic who is familiar with vw diesel engines.
