How to wire an aftermarket fuse block for 84 suzuki GS550L

Wiring an aftermarket fuse block for an 84 Suzuki GS550L involves a few steps. Here is a general guide to help you get started:
  1. Determine the location where you want to mount the aftermarket fuse block. A good location would be near the battery or under the seat for easy access.
  2. Locate the positive (+) and negative (-) wires coming from the battery. The positive wire should be red, and the negative wire should be black.
  3. Connect the positive wire from the battery to the input terminal on the aftermarket fuse block. The input terminal is typically labeled "B+" or "Bat." Use a suitable gauge wire to ensure adequate current flow.
  4. Connect the negative wire from the battery to the ground terminal on the aftermarket fuse block. The ground terminal is typically labeled "GND" or "Ground."
  5. Identify the electrical components that you want to connect to the fuse block. The GS550L has various electrical components such as the headlights, turn signals, ignition, etc.
  6. Determine the appropriate fuse rating for each electrical component. Refer to the owner's manual or the component manufacturer's specifications for the recommended fuse rating.
  7. Connect each electrical component to a separate output terminal on the aftermarket fuse block. Each output terminal should be labeled with the electrical component name, and the wire gauge should match the component's power requirements.
  8. Insert the appropriate fuse for each electrical component into the corresponding fuse holder on the aftermarket fuse block.
  9. Test the electrical components to ensure that they are working correctly.
It is essential to follow the manufacturer's instructions and consult a qualified mechanic or electrician if you are unsure of any step. Also, ensure that you disconnect the battery before working on the electrical system to avoid any electrical shock or short circuits.

A 2006 Suzuki boulevard c50 won't turn over not getting any Power.

Verify that the battery is fully charged. A test light would be very helpful. Clamp the test light lead to the ground terminal of the battery and test for power at the battery first. Then test for power at the power distribution box. Test the main power cables attached to the side of the box. Is there power? Disconnect the test light lead and connect it to the positive battery terminal. Now test for ground on the engine block and the starter. Is there ground? The next step requires a helper. Reattach lead to battery ground and test for battery power and power at the starter signal wire. Your helper will hold the key in the start position while you test the circuit. Was there power? CAUTION: If this is new. This test can hurt or kill you if you don't know what you are doing. Long hair, loose clothing, jewelry or body limbs in the wrong area can cause you to get pulled into the engine as the belt spins. also use caution while testing positive circuits. shorting the test light while connected to power will cause arcing and blow fuses. Why don't you start here and let me know how you are doing and what you have found. Please write back with any questions. Good Luck.

Electric door lock and windows

I know they have a trend to go on the earth in the doors. main ground is behind the dash, take the panel out and looking up you can see it, usually if this has gone hear you lose dash lights and a list of other stuff from heater control etc. there is also a earthing point under the battery and one under the windscreen cover. there is also one under the centre console near to the hand brake. one above the the glove box on pass side. if you have problems with the ground it is some time better just to make your own. find the ground wire and drill a hole in a good spot. and use a self tapping screw and earth it from there. if this is the only problem you have the ground wire may have broken some were in a moving part or even one of the seat runners. heated seats would not work if you have them fitted.

1996 suzuki sidekick sport jlx all four power windows and door locks quit at the same time

Look for broken wires leading into the driver's door. Have you already checked for a fuse problem? The windows and locks may be fused, or they may be on a circuit breaker. Sounds like power is not getting to the master switch, or the ground for it is lost. If you have a voltmeter, you can check for power and ground right at the master switch. The switch will have one hot wire to it with the key on, and one ground wire from the switch back into the cabin and then to ground somewhere, probably close by.
Ground a voltmeter or test light, pull the master switch connector apart, turn key on, and probe the connector for one hot wire. If you have it, good. If no power, again check for broken wires at the door. To check the ground wire, put positive lead on the hot wire, and the negative lead into the ground terminal source at the connector. If the ground is good, the meter will show battery voltage, or the testlight will light up. If the ground is lost, you will get nothing on the meter or testlight.

Charged AC on my suzuki and turned AC on but compressor doesn't engage. Not getting power to compressor. Ran hot wire straight from battery to compressor an still no luck. Is compressor bad? Any ideas?

Could be,but make sure the ground side of the compressor(wire)is grounded,if it is,the clutch coil on the compressor is bad,it will be cheaper, and easier,to replace the compressor with the clutch assembely.

Cigarette lighter and radio not working on Suzuki X90. Have replaced fuse. No luck. Not too concerned about radio, but would like to have power from lighter for GPS. Any suggestions?

Connect a bypass wire to another fuse such as the ACC. or directly to battery hot wire. Better yet buy a 12v accessory unit . Sold at Pep Boys etc. And connect to a hot (positive wire.). And a ground wire.
