Probably bad feed tube in the tank. some have hose that can rot and cause no feed near bottom of tank.
Thanks David. I will double check on that . There seems to be a lot of fuel pressure by the enjin. I believe that there is a fuelpressure regulator before the fuel enters the injection system . Could that be a problem ?
Maybe, but I don't see how the fuel level in the tank would have an effect, again unless something is wrong inside the tank.
David is wrong i am a mechanic. u most open the valve tank SLIGHTY to not let air our. no feedin is a require
THANKS,
ding
Ding may be a mechanic, but I can't figure out what his comment is trying to say. "U most open the tank SLIGHTY to not let air out. No feedin is a require" What on earth does this mean? Hey I'm not trying to be the spelling or grammar police, but just can't make any sense of this.
Could not understand his comment

the engine light IS on. I will definately check out the fluid in the trans. How much on average does a trans flush cost? Thank you very much for your help. I am currently riding my bike as much as possible till I find a solution, plus gas prices haha.

check your battery cables to see if the cables themselves are corroded and also check the connections where they connect to the vehicle that they are clean
positivecable will connect at the starter and the negative will connect to the engine some where.
if this does not help then have your starter tested to see if it is dragging. as it could be the armature or the brushes in the starter.

i actually had this problem on my 97 sentra, its the air idle control valve. when your car is idling with your foot off the pedal, the throttle plate is closed, so this little valve opens up to allow air to detour around the closed throttle plate so your car can continue to run, when you give it gas the plate opens so your engine can increase revs.
after awhile the idle air control valve gets dirty with carbon buildup and eventually makes the valve stick so no air can pass through it which is why the car will stall when it attempts to idle. all it needs is a good clean. its very easy to do, just get some brake cleaner and a toothpick or q-tip or some other small brush.
locating this valve is a bit tricky, yours is a 2000 model mines a 97 so it wont be in the same location as mine, but what your looking for is a little cylinder type thing somewhere near the intake with an electrical connector at the back of it, take the connector off, mine had 2 phillips head screws holding the valve in place, once removed the valve slides out, and you can proceed to clean it. make sure you get all the black soot out of it and play around with it until it opens smooth, reinstall and it should run fine. to find out the exact location of your idle air control valve id google it or try a nissan forum, but itll be close to your intake manifold near the firewall. best of luck, once found its a very easy fix.

Have a mechanic check it for vacuum leaks!
Good luck and be careful!
