Where is the neutral safety switch on a 2001 Honda Civic automatic?

IT's the gear position switch below the console. That's your park/neutral switch

What is a neutral safety switch? The PRNDL switch is on passenger side of transmission. Pull passenger side front tire off and and it's visible. You have to remove a metal cover, two bolts. Someone would need to check the neutral safety switch for power if it is an automatic, or the reverse switch if it is a manual.

I would check the fuse and the neutral safety switch if it is an automatic, or the backup light switch in the transaxle if it is a manual shift.

Is it a manual or automatic? If it is a manual, there may be a safety interlock switch on the clutch. An automatic has a neutral safety switch. Either could be bad or possible power to the starter. Let me know and I can help further
