A lot of automatic cars use the radiator for cooling the ****** fluid. It's possible that you have a hole inside the endtanks on the radiator, that is allowing the fluid to mix.

usually when the check engine light is flashing it indicates that you need to tune it up. I would replace the plugs and wires. Do it one at a time so you don't forget firing order. Leave comment

I have a 2000 Bonneville - I had a problem with the car stalling out - then it did not want to start back up. (When it did it would idle up and down and then die) I changed out the mass air flow sensor - now I have not had a problem. Good luck with it.

not many codes will turn the light on and off, but the only way to know for sure is to get your codes scanned . Most auto parts stores will do this for free. THey will tell you what codes have tripped, even if the light isn't on any more. THis way you can have an idea as to what caused your light. Often it is a cylinder misfire or something similar.

yes you can disconect this system if you dont mind an engine light to be on .... it will not damage the car..

The scan tool that they used at autozone should be able to erase them and tell you whether they are existing codes or just stored. Hope this helps.
