2000 jaguar vdp driver window wont open when pushing button you hear it click but nothing happens

Give the interior door panel a couple of heavy thumps with your hand it may work again for a while the normal prob is caused by sticking/worn out motor brushes the shock releases them and the motor works again. if so then that confirms the motor needs changing. if not check the wiring/connectors to the motor, but the motor is most likely the cause. hope this helps.
