Head gasket is not the answer to the problem. As of now, I am having this issue. We have just replaced the head gasket, oil cooler gasket and the problem remains.

SOURCE: radiator over flow bottle fills with coolant.

There's nothing wrong with the overflow bottle filling with coolant, that's what it's there for. As long as it doesn't pour out the top it's fine.

SOURCE: OIL IN RADIATOR

gas or oil in radiator is usually strong indication head gasket is blown, not good idea to keep running it like it is.

SOURCE: water has oil mixed in radiator

Either the transmission oil cooler is leaking or you have a leaking engine head gasket.

A "Haynes manual" will show you where it is.best book for anyone who has a vehicle, I have one for each of my vehicles. It goes by the year and make of your vehicle and shows and tells you anything you need to know on your vehicle. You can buy one at you local auto store like advanced auto or auto zone, oriellys, etc.

2006 Opel Corsa Lite 1.4i. The radiator fan not coming on by itself?

There are two fuse boxes in the engine bay and the big one has THREE relays for the cooling fan R1, R2 and R3, although not all positions may be filled.

Opel (Vauxhall) Corsa C - fuse and relay

FuseAndRelay.com

https://fuseandrelay.com > opel > corsa-c

In our material, you will find a description of the Opel Corsa C fuse boxes and relays with diagrams and an example of execution. Let's highlight the fuse ...

BUT, it could also be the cooling temperature sensor.

Do you know how to test a relay? Do you have a multimeter and some wire?

The coolant temperature sensor can also be tested.

What is causing overheating?

Check your oil dipstick. If there's a grey/creamy sludge on it that means water is finding its way into the oil system. Your cylinder head gasket/cylinder head is faulty.

Fill your coolant bottle. Leave the top off. Start the engine and watch the coolant level. To begin with, you will see air bubbles escaping. This is normal. If bubbles continually appear or the coolant level 'shakes' violently, this indicates that exhaust gas is finding its way into the cooling system via a cracked cylinder head/faulty head gasket. Also look at the exhaust gas - is it clouds of white? If so - that's steam from water being burnt in the engine - a head problem.

Over heating is a sign of a cracked cylinder head/faulty head gasket.

The other causes of overheating includes a stuck thermostat or a leaking/blocked radiator.

If there's no sign of a coolant leak underneath your vehicle - suspect the cylinder head gasket

My Chana Star bakkie 1.3 blows water out expansion bottle and then starts to get hot after about 25 km

Sounds like a cracked head or bad head gasket. Have it checked by a mechanic.

What is the oil capacity of an Opel Corsa 1.7 DTI utility manual gearbox and what grade oil should be used

As a standard, any front wheel drive car uses ATF lubricant or better known as Automatic Transmission Fluid to lubricate it's gearbox, you can recognise it by its colour witch is deep red, an opel/vauxhall corsa/astra 1.7d/1.7di/1.7dti/1.7cdti uses ATF II, not a easy trans to fill, suggest you let a dealer do this service

2008 corsa utility overheating & water is boiling & pushing out through the water bottle

I see two possible causes.
1) Something is blocking air from cooling the radiator. Is there any debris like leaves blocking the radiator?
2) Something is preventing coolant from flowing through the engine. Could be a water pump failure.
Make sure your engine old level is within proper range.
