The PCM knows how to fire them, its hard coded
there is no distributor.
my guess, is you scrambled the coil packs?
my 3.7L (its in USA) has 6 coil packs, called cops.
and can not ever be scrambled. ever.
ours is the WK jeep.
firing order is.
1 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2
number one on all V engines is the most front cylinder
one is more front if you look at them.. left front is 1
the v6 has 6, cops coils
the v8 small same.
the V8 big has 3 cops with shared wasted spark crossover wires.
are you confused on what engine you have?>?
3.7L
page on in the FSM chapter 9
The cylinders are numbered from front to rear with the left bank being numbered 1,3, and 5
and the right bank being numbered 2,4, and 6. The firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2. The engine serial number is
located at the right front side of the engine block
Drivers perspective, seated. (just like saying left car door)
Left bank right bank
5 6
3 4
1 2

So your saying 1-2, 3-4, 5-6?
thats what the diagram on autodata shows
i was a bit skeptic myself
he got it wrong, he uses internet rumor to fix cars, try using the offical books.
and win.
the left front cylinder v6 is #1
3.7L V6, and how can you mix up 6 cop coils>?

So I think I have them all in the correct spot, when I reconnected the battery to start it ugh now there is fuel spewing out on the drivers side of motor. There is a silver line with what looks like clips connected to it. That's where it's coming out, I think it's called the fuel rail?
