Engine power reduced , problem with the electronic throttle control ! Watch a couple of video's on youtube , google GM engine power reduced . The gas pedal an the throttle body have position sensor's ,when the PCM/ECM - engine computer see conflicting input's from one of these sensors it send's into a reduced power mode . Your best bet mite be to take it to a qualified repair shop.
your car is in reduced power mode to protect itself because there is someting wrong with it. you have to read the error codes fix problem then it will automaticaly revert to regular power
it could be just about anything. first start by checking plugs, wires, and coil.Engine hesitation, which is normally most apparent during acceleration, is a condition that often results from either abnormal fuel flow to an engine or abnormal electrical conduction to a vehicle's spark plugs. Bad spark plug wires, whether they degrade internally or develop cracks and breaks in their outer coverings that cause electrical interference, can cause an engine to hesitate. Engine Surging, Engine surging is a common symptom of bad spark plug wires, especially if the wires have cracks or breaks in their outside insulation, heres the symtoms for a bad fuel filter. Engine Hesitation, Engine Stalling, Rough Engine Idle, Reduced Engine Power. if really plugged it will stop fuel flow and car will not start. just give it a good tuneup, and go from there! good-day!
It sounds like your Power Door Lock Relay is working intermintently. Bypass the relay and test the Power Door Locks with a jumper wire direct from the battery, if they work with no hesitation then it is a bad relay.
Have you ever had the catalytic converter changed. Over time the pellets inside will melt together and this will make the care very very sluggish like it does not want to run. You may want to try that.
