How to change headlights on acura cl 1999
this is true for people who have HID headlights in there car if it is a regular bulb its just like any other car. disconect your battery if you want to be 100% possitive there is no electrical shock.

My headlight is out and I want to get the bulb out-how do I get to the hedlight?
I actually have a Acura CL 3.0 and changed the headlights on it 2 weeks ago. The first thing you do after propping the hood is start loosening the plastic fasteners (they should pop off). Once you have them all undone you can remove the entire plastic cover piece.
From there you can look to where the back of the headlights would be and see wires in a clip going into the headlight. There should be a little notch that you need to get the wire removed from the bulb. Simply twist and the old bulb comes out and you just follow the same steps backwards to get the new bulb in.
NOTE: There is a gel you can place on the inside of the plastic adapter to help your bulb from overheating and frying any wires/bulbs.
