What color is the ground wire and hot wire on fuel pump shut off switch on 2001 Ford expedition

It doesn't work that way. If there is continuity through the inertia switch, both wires coming and going are hot.

I have a 94 Camaro 3.4 and I need to know what color the hot wire on the fuel pump is. I get all kinds of answers from grey, black, pink. What color is it if I hotwire the pump to check it. Also wh

I don't have the diagrams. Not buying it either. But it is either pink or grey. Anything black is ground. Since 99% of the ones I do is grey, I choose this one. A 94 has 4 wires. Two are ground. one is the fuel pump, the other is the fuel sender/gas gauge. Ground it , then add 12 volts to the others. It won't hurt it. If you won't the wiring schematics, Go to alldatadiy.com ad you can buy them, plus everything else about your car.

87 ford f-350 7.5 l fuel pump wiring system. fuel pump hot wire w/fuselink. where does it connect?

If I recall the color coding, that should connect to the fuel pump relay.

This I think is the yellow wire which is hooked to the starter relay and goes to the common contact of the fuel pump relay.

if the fuses and relays are good then have you check the dash switch, you may have to check the wiring(powers)from the pump back through the system until you find were you have lost power.

No power to fuel pump intermittently when hot (summer). After waiting approximately 15 minutes, fuel pump will hum & engine will start when ignition is turned on.

Check the wiring between the fuel pump and the wiring harness, this sounds like a short or wire melting to something hot.
