Car acts like it's hitting on 2 cylinders. It won't go. I started changing plugs but after the first one came out rusty I stopped because I thought I could be wasting my time.
These could be causes :
1.carbon fouling
2.terminal nut wear
3.flash-over spark leakage from terminal to matal shell.
4.corona stain
5.metal shell due to rust, breakage at caulked portion.
6.Firing End -broken ceramics, melted electrodes, deposits
7Dry and wet fouling
8.Insulator-breakage at the corrugation and caulked portion.
9.Under or over tightening.
10.pluck socket troubles
If it's actual rust then you have water in the cylinder which means blown headgasket, cracked head or other engine damage.
