It can't keep any fluid in the overflow reservoir, or is it just overflowing the overflow container.

If it keeps emptying the overflow, you have a leak somewhere.
After it's emptied the overflow, check the radiator if you can.
Allow it to cool for 30 minutes, then open the radiator cap to see if the level is low.
This will tell you if the overflow reservoir is leaking or if you have a more important problem.

If you can't keep fluid in the overflow you either have an external leak, you should see fluid on the ground after stopping, if no fluid is apparent you have an internal engine leak and need a mechanic to determine the cause and repair.

Spark plugs getting to much gas keeps fludding itself

It could be leaking fuel injectors, or something telling your motor that it is running too lean and needs more gas. Is the check engine light on? Please let me know if I can further assist you.

It appears that I am losing coolant via the overflow tank atop the radiator. The truck runs fine, does not overheat, but every so often there is a puddle of coolant under the truck. We have checked...

head gasket failure between piston seal and the cooling system causing pressure ,it will not show as water in oil but white smoke on start up from cold ,when it warms up it will tend to seal itself but eventually it will just keep boiling up

I have to keep on filling antifreeze in the overflow tank. What does this mean?

If you have to keep filling the bottle it means that the coolant is leaking somewhere. Have the system pressure tested, and that should pinpoint the problem

2001 dodge ram shuts off intermittently, restart ok no mil.

You are experiencing what is called a CCD Bus short in the instrument cluster circuit board. (chrysler calls it the "chrysler collision detection buss) it is how all of the controllers and modules communicate on that vehicle. Get a new one and you should have no problems, and used ones are a HUGE gamble. Other vehicles that are extremely bad for this are, caravans, neons, sebring coupe/conv, strates, and cirrus. It will also cause a no start condition that is EXTREMELY hard to catch.
