Check the transmission fluid and make sure it is both at the correct level and that it is not burnt smelling or brown. It should be a reddish color. A fluid flush and transmission filter change may be in order.
Hi hope I can help. This is a very common way that a torque converter fails. The transmission will need to be removed and a new torque converter installed. Hope this helps leave feed back thank you urnuts73@fixYa
Seeing as how no one ever changes trans fluid and all vehicles tend to have some trans issues,I would say your best bet is to check with a trans shop and if your comfortable there, have it towed. Unless it is something simple,expect about a $2000.00 repair bill.
Does van stay running when you hold the gas pedal down? Check fuel pressure at fuel rail should be 30 psi when key is turned on.
EGR valve and EVP sensor also control idle.
