SOURCE: vent door stuck and can't remove glove box

why can't you remove the glove box? You can get at the door from under the dash but it's a ***** to do. try lubing the vent cables unless it uses the vacuum motor, if it uses the vac. motor it will be hard to get to without the glove box being out.

Testimonial: "Thanks! I just don't know how to remove the glovebox."

Where in my bmw 318is is the ecui cant seem to find it to remove from my car .

hi the ecu is located under the passenger glove box and to the left, remove the cloth part from under the glove box look up and to the left you will see a silver box with a black plug in it, that will be your ECU, or if it is the change over year, there is an ECU under the hood on drivers side there is a black plastick box, undo the screws to that and there is one in there...hope that helps

I have a 1997 bmw z3. i don't have any dash lights.

There are backlight bulbs on the backside of the instr. cluster, they could be burnt out. There is also a small chance of a problem with the headlamp switch, but doubtful.

I have a 2001 BMW Z3. The battery went dead last

most new BMW's the fuse block is located behind the glove box. There should be a pair of twist plastic fastners at the back of the glove box, twist and remove the plate and you should find the fuse box and fuse locater list.
