How much air pressure in my tires ? 185/60R 14 I

2003 Hyundai Accent 2 door hatch back car with air conditioning. How much air pressure in my tires? They are 185/60R -14. I have the Bravuris - Barum tires on the front of my car.It came with these tires. Are they any good? I would like to put a set on the back if they are any good. They look real soft with 30lbs. in them? Should I run 30 all the way around? I usually travel alone and don't carry alot of weight. Allan

I have a 2006 Hyundai Accent GS. I have noticed i am using excessive amounts of fuel ( 1/8 tank to go 5 blocks) I dont have a leak in my tank either. What would be causing this??

The 2 most common causes ( other than driving habits) for poor fuel mileage are dirty air filter and low air pressure in the tires. Make sure to replace the air filter at least every 15K miles and keep tires properly inflated. After that, you could need new spark plugs, wires, ect. depending on vehicle mileage.

@how much air pressure requir in front / rear tyre of hundai accent CRDI 2006

There is a infomation sticker located on the drivers door jamb. I usual set all car tires to 35 psi due to the newer cars with the TPMS. The old rule of thumb was 32 psi. Normally; I would suggest to run anything from 30psi to 35 psi.

How to replace the third brake light (hatch) on a 2005 hyundai accent. I took off the 4 screw on the the plastic cover and it still won't come off. Tried taking off cove of back hatch but don't want to...

Above the third brake light is a small panel, remove this panel using small screwdriver.
1. You'll see four (4) bolts, remove the three bolts that are painted black, do not remove the center bolt holding the plastic molding, this is for the door molding, and has nothing to do with the light.
2. Once those three bolts are out, you'll see two more small screws, remove them and you'll have access to the third brake light bulb.

Be careful when pulling out the bulb, my bulb broke, and I'm still trying to get pieces out! - Good luck.

How much air do I put in 2003 Accent tires

The proper tire pressure for the front and rear tires should be shown on a small sticker (placard) inside the driver door jam. Open the driver side door, and look for a sticker that shows the manufacturing date, and other information, such as the proper tire size, load capacity, tire pressure, etc.

The placard pressure is what you should ALWAYS set your tire pressure to, unless you have installed different tires/wheels than came with the car when new (and then it's anyone's guess).

The placard pressure is what the manufacturer has decided is the best pressure based on their testing for that specific vehicle. Whenever I have tire work done, I always asks the shop to inflate the tires to placard pressure. You'd be surprised, they often set the pressure wrong!

Where is the fuel pump located on a 1997 Hyundai Accent

The fuel pump is inside of the gas tank.
Check to see if it has a "hatch" located under the rear seat (at least, the 2-door version does). 2001 do but not sure about a 1997 but check for the hatch first. You can access the pump there.
If this year doesn't have an access hatch, then you'll have to take the tank off the car to gain access to the pump.
Hope this helps.

2008 hyundai indicator light

IT SOUNDS LIKE THE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT. YOUR TIRES LOOSE AIR PRESSURE WHEN THE WEATHER GOES FROM HOT TO COLD. TRY ADDING SOME AIR TO THE TIRES. THE LIGHT SHOULD GO OUT. ALSO, LOOK IN THE OWNERS MANUAL, IT SHOULD GIVE AN EXPLANATION OF WARNING LIGHTS.

My hyundai car (1998- accent - coupe) battery is flat and its not getting opened...since it has central locking system..

Your key should work manually (without battery) on at least one door or the trunk/hatch. Otherwise the world would be filled with abandoned hyundais with flat batteries and no way to get in! Try the passenger side door; don't expect to hear the central locking relay, but if you turn the key far enough, that door should open.
