There is no fuel cut off switch. The electric fuel pump only operates for a few seconds when the ignition is switched on and will only remain on when the engine has been started. If the engine is not started and the ignition is left on the computer will cut power to the pump.

If you want to cut all power to the fuel pump you have to remove the fuse for the pump or remove the relay that covers the power circuit to the fuel pump.

SOURCE: where is the fuel cutoff

Reseting the fuel pump kill switch.

Before you reset the fuel pump, make sure to read all of the following instructions!!!!!

            • MAKE SURE YOU HAVE GAS IN YOUR TANK! IF IT IS EMPTY, THE FUEL PUMP MIGHT NOT NEED TO BE RESET, IT ****** ****** MIGHT ONLY NEED TO BE PRIMED, PUT AT LEAST TWO GALLONS IN THE TANK AND SKIP TO "Step 4". ******

1.) Look for an access panel in the trunk, driver's side; it might even be labeled "Fuel Pump Reset".

2.) Open the compartment and press the red button. This should reset the pump.

3.) At this point it might be a good idea to "burp" the fuel tank. This will probably be the easiest thing you do all day! Just pop the cover and unscrew the gas cap, this will release any preasure built up inside the tank. As long as you're in a controled environment, go ahead and leave the cap open until you finish "Step 4". Otherwise "burp" it a couple of times while you're priming the lines.

4.) The next step is to prime the pump. In other words, make sure there is enough gas in the fuel lines to start the car. The easiest way to do this is by turning the key back and forth from the "OFF" to the "ON" position. *** Be sure not to turn all the way to the "START" position until you have performed "Step 4", at least 3 or 4 times. If you attempt to start the car before the fuel pump is properly primed, you will run a serious risk of burning out the pump. This could lead to even more costly repairs!!!

5.) Replace the gas cap before attempting ignition.

6.) Once you have reset the pump, burped the tank, primed the fuel lines, and replaced the gas cap; you should be all set! Go ahead and give it a crank, good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you change the fuel filter on a 2003 nissan 350z

350z's have an in-tank filter that by the book does not need changed. Only really needs changed as often as the fuel pump itself. If you really must know and are determined, try getting a service manual from a Nissan dealership or a Haynes manual
4 door 350z? WTF are you talking about one sir. And the next guy. No, it isn't a tall silver canister.

Where is the fuel screen or fuel filter located on a 2003 nissan sentra,is it under the bottom of the car or is it located under the hood?

it is located as part of the fuel pump, you can access the pump by removing the RR seat cushion and removing the access cover! Just twist the plastic clips(3) whichever way they will turn and then remove the 8mm bolts around the securing ring, and out she comes!

My nissan 350z sometimes stalls after starting

after i replaced the battery in my 2003 350z, it would stall immediatly after i cranked it on unless i gave it a little gas. I fixed this by cleaning the MAF and throtle body valve. Total supply costs were $15 and took about 20 minutes. My Z is not only fixed but runs smoother and cleaner.
