I have misplaced my only key to my 2001 bonneville and i am trying to figure out what i can do in order to get my started without the key while avoiding the security system at the same time

Turn the key on for ten minutes, off for thirty seconds. This is a reset. A relearn is three times this, try to start after the third time. Have a charger on the battery with a relearn.
The ECM must be programmed according to the VIN. I suppose you did this already. In addition, I understand that the ignition transponder key must also be computer matched to the ECM. If not the car eill not even turn over. Good luck
usually when the check engine light is flashing it indicates that you need to tune it up. I would replace the plugs and wires. Do it one at a time so you don't forget firing order. Leave comment
No,check for spark first. The security code comes off the key itself & never needs servicing. If no spark,there's a load of things to check,but start with the fuses, then engine codes. Should narrow it down a bit.
These are bad about those Cable operated window devices .. If it is bad get on ebay and get one ordered its your best bet.. Just take a flat screwdriver and go around the bottom of the door panel and pop it loose and up the sides .. there might be a hidden screw or two in the middle around the handles.. good luck ..
