Wiring diagram for altenator in 2005 pt cruiser

I bought a brand new altenator put it in and still no charge to battery. I did connect it direct and the altenator is good, so i need a diagram to show the wiring from the altenator throughout to battery so i dont need to fallow it all through, and Also trying to find which fuse in the fuse panel would be the relay for the altenator to work.?

I would be checking the external regulator ( if it is not internal in the alternator ) as that will stop a charge for the battery

When an alternator has the power supply hook up to it should the black wire going to the 2 prong plug be hot and the green wire have no power ??

I gave you the wring diagram and I gave you the fix.

The alternator went bad, you didn't check why, the new one went bad when you installed it?

Mis-wired? New one faulty?

How to reset computer for my 2005 pt cruiser convertable. I put a new battery and now passenger side windows don't go down. Please help

Changing a battery should not affect the power window. The computer will be reset when the battery is disconnected. Sounds like a coincidence. Try banging on the door while operating the window switch to see if it will work again. If not, the door will have to be disassembeled for testing/inspection

Yes, i have a 2003 chrysler pt cruiser and i just put a new battery in it now my dash, headlights and dome lights flicker real bad?

The issue seems to be common among the 2001-2005 models of PT Cruiser. Changing the battery (from other answers on other years with similar issues) seems to short out things like the lights and the stereo. Some suggestions for fixing it, if you can't find where the electrical wiring for the lights attaches to the battery/computer, to make sure the wires aren't frayed, the plastic housing isn't worn away, and the grounding wire hasn't been severed...then a mechanic should be able to find them for you.

Battery charge Diesel PT Cruiser

You can connect the - or negative to the negative on the battery or whereever it will reach on the engine or body. The engine and battery are preferable. Just be sure it makes good contact, bare shiny metal is best, a quick rub with a file or sandpaper before you hook up is a good idea. Watch the guage on the charger as youwiggle the charger cables to see if it moves higher. If it does, clean up your contact points. Hope this helps.
