No engine stated, and this varies by ,, engine.

the belts , if new , screech for only 2 reasons
1: loose (or oil soaked, watch a guy last weak oil it to stop this)sad.
2: or the accessory its driving is seized.

id bet the cogged, timing belt will never screech, its idler might.
did you inspect all parts as you asssembled the engine.
no engine stated, so be hard for the blind to answer with savvy,
accurate answers, no?

ACCESSORY belts are tension'ed, 3 ways. (3 classes of systems)
1; manual tension. means you sit it to spec.
2: auto tension'ers
3: some look like auto type and are not.... the book for your engine tells all this.

the cam belt as special tension'g steps, did you follow those.
we cant guess what you did wrong.
nor if you even followed all steps.
below is technician loosing the auto tensioner
if the tensioner feels weak or bad, it is.
my guess, (useless) is that the cam belt is ok
but you skipped the accessory belts tension steps.
if it didnt screech before.belt noise when i start the car and it is cold. La - 451adf4b-5c25-45c0-9005-5e285b255e75.jpg

    one more.
if it screeches, at cold start.?
you can drop a belt and start it, dead cold
and run it for 2min. like that.
    screech now? (bingo)
    easy no?>
cog belts dont screech. so... fly apart and shred yes.
at least this answer tells you which belt it is.
then you feel all driven points on that missing belt. for bearing damage. Play or binding.
this we do every time any belt is off'd
i can also use $5 stethoscope
and listen to all accessories. for bearing noise.
    sold in all autostores, that.

if all pulleys spin free, (not engine)
and tension is ok, and not bad tension'er.
try a new belt, old belts do in fact fail for getting too hard and glaze over and then slip or make noise. Try a Gatorbelt.

    try a new belt.
install it using the book instructions.
    it's this simple
1: excess load. and it slips and squeals.
    2: bad belt.
3: tension wrong, (no matter how)

many cars this old the tension'r spring inside
either breaks or gets weak as a cat.
    EOL, end of life.

When engine gets to operating temperature noise from timing belt area whooo whooo, any ideas?

Sounds like water pump! If it was last changed 60k when timing belt done could need doing! If not timing belt tensioner! When timing belt is done it is good practice to replace water pump and belt tensioners at the same time!

My 2000 BMW 328i has a horrible squeaky noise when it is cold and stops after about 15 minutes what is the problem and how do I fix it?

I assume that the squeaky noise stops after 15 minutes, not the engine. If that is the case, you may have a very worn belt. This won't cost you a ton of money. You have a serpentine belt on your car, so that is a likely culprit. You may also have a bad battery, which in cold weather would perhaps have just enough to start the car but would also demand the alternator (and by extension, the belt) to provide enough amps to recharge the battery after a severe draw,
Before the winter, I recommend a new serpentine belt and a new battery, after a test of your alternator output and the battery at a good shop. You should not expect to spend more than $200 max, if everything is wrong.

I have a 2003 Nissan Murano, and everytime i turn the heater on now, there is an earsplitting squealing noise that happens for about 15 seconds. It started just when the car was cold, but now it will come...

alternator/air comp. belt slipping.look for loose belt, worn cracked belt and also these are known for cracking tensioner pulley mounting bracket and causing tension loss on belt.without a lift would be pain and ultimately you wouldnt really save much trying todo yourself.

Annoying Injector noise.

Servicing the injector may help. If not then a replacement is necessary.

Once i start my sonata Lx 2006 especially when the car is cold ,it starts with noisy sound and it takes 10-15 second to get good.so what is the problem?

If you have replaced a belt, it may not be on tight enough, or you may need to get your belts checked for cracks....Normally that is the sound of a worn or loosen belt...Does it wind like a screeching noise? If so, its most likely the belt

Screaching noise at start ups

Your alternator has a belt that rotates it. Either the bearing on the pulley wheel on the alternator where the belt seats in is bad or tighten your belt.
