Take it in to an accredited auto gas fitter specialist and have the system checked out
could be a loose wire or problem sensor

WhyMy mitsubishi 380 2005 won't change from fuel to LPG after battery going flat

it should switch without any problem
look at LPG related fuses and relays first
if the engine light is on there is a fault code to read

this mitsubishi forum has the dedicated 380 forum

Hi, I had a vehicle for factory fitted LPG ,engine won''t start and I trace fault fuses and relay ok but i dont have pulse going to the solenoid,is rhis something to do with the ECM?

I take it that you have a duel fuel system where by you can switch from fuel to gas by a switch on the dash
the solenoids will shut of petrol or gas depending on the switch position
Normally it is not connected to the ECM as it is not something that the control module has any thing to do with
THe only action that would involve the ECM is the readjustment of the air/fuel mixture as it reads the HO2s and O2 sensors after you change fuel delivery systems
I would involve the shop that fitted the LPG system as it could be simply be a bad connecting in a wire or loose ground wire

How litres of lpg per ten kilometers for a Daewoo lanos

as lpg expands to around 200 times the liquid state it will be difficult to calculate as how you want it
the car has a liquid tank but the liquid is converted to gas in a converter on the manifold.
basically from experience an engine on lpg gets about 75% of the mileage as if it was on petrol for the same amount of lpg in litres
talk wit an accredited specialist automotive gas fitting shop and they may be able to give you a better idea
you can work it out by filling the lpg tank to shut off and setting the trip meter to zero and then when you have done say 100 klms refill the lpg tank to shut off and that will indicate how many litres were used in that 100 kilometers

Hello, I am having Maruthi Omni LPG, for the past 3 months I am facing vehicle jerking problem due to misfire. I changed the Ignition coil ,but now also the problem arises

Th engine must be prroperly tuned for the LPG if this was fitted externally . If this was factory fitted please get a proper fuel setting done on the gas , check the spark plugs , the intensity , and also the timing.

Fuel/starting problem

hang onto the hammer for abit.... i'm presuming the gas was not drained... it has a tendency to "gum" up after awhile... i can't recall if there is a product you can put in your tank to remove gum from the gas... but one thing i would try is gas line antifreeze... it's got alchohol in it which sucks up water in the gas... that may help till you get fresh gas flowing thru it.

One other thing... when you turn on the key... are you able to hear the fuel pump ?

Ford focus lpg.

Check coil for cracks and weak spark on one side. Check pcv hose that connects to the intake manifold as they will collapse and leak. It will turn the light on. Check while running.

Warning check light

Hi there. When LPG is used to fuel internal combustion engines. It is often referred to as autogas. More recently, it has also been used in diesel engines. Its advantage is that it is non-toxic, non-corrosive and free of tetraethyl lead or any additives and has a high octane rating of 108 RON. It burns cleaner than petrol or diesel and is especially free of the particuales from the latter. It sounds like the best option for your vehicle since gas prices are higher than ever, but there are two downsides. Firstly it has a lower energy density than either petrol or diesel, so the equivalent fuel consumption is higher, but since many governments impose less tax, it is still usually more cost effective. Secondly, some designs of internal combustion engine require the lubrication of petrol or diesel with lead or lead substitute, and LPG's lack, thereof, can damage valves or shorten their life. Engines designed for unleaded fuel, equipped with hardened valve seats, are suitable for use with LPG without added upper cylinder lubrication, so if you did not do this with your valves, this might be your problem.
